Four Freedoms Posters

While at the library looking at the four freedoms posters, the one that stood out most to me was this one that i have posted here. To me this posters is so interesting because of the way that each freedom illistration is represented with a weapon in it, which to me is reflecting on the way that the United States today is surounded by violence. Citizens in today's world our constantly surounded by violence in everyway, including in our freedoms. Freedom of speech is represented by violence which to me indicates terrorist attacks where violence has been used to send their message. The freedom of want seems to mean that we can get what we want when we could resort to violence. Freedom of fear is shown as a family using weapons to protect themselves from robberies and break ins. And finally the freedom of religion is shown as people praising weapons and war as their savior. To mean the author here has shown the way that most americans today may view these freedoms and to me they seem to be very accurate, which is why this was my favorite poster out of all of them.
